For your kayaking tour, you’ll meet the guide at the starting point in Grebbestad. They will go through a safety briefing and provide you with the latest top-quality equipment (kayak, paddle and sprayskirt) as well as some kayak clothing (neoprene pants, a good spray top and a dry suit during the cold months). You don’t need any prior kayaking experience to participate in this tour, the guide will teach you all of the techniques. Then, you’ll set off on your kayaking adventure!
The kayak excursion will take place in the northern archipelago of Fjällbacka in Grebbestad. The area north of Grebbestad is known by the locals as the "Bull's Head" nature reserve. Following the guide, you’ll paddle west, passing the thousands of islands located in the archipelago area. You’ll discover pristine natural landscapes, secluded beaches, and charming fishing communities. The area also has many shipwrecks, which the guide will share the history of as you paddle.
Midway through the day trip, you’ll stop at one of the beautiful islands for a break. The guide will prepare a delicious lunch made from local products, as well as some hot tea or coffee. As you enjoy your meal, take in the amazing surrounding scenery. In the afternoon, you’ll head back to the starting point with unforgettable memories of your kayaking experience along the Swedish West Coast!
